Description

With each trunk we remove and mill we unlock a history we believe should be preserved. This beautiful black cherry slab was taken from an 85 year old black cherry tree that needed to come down in Maryland Heights after one of St. Louis’ notorious Spring storms blew through with damaging winds last year. This particular slab has some unique voids in the wood caused by insect damage that we also filled in with black epoxy.

Here at Slab Lab we believe in tree-incarnation! So this Christmas shop local and take pride in our Midwest roots (wink, see what we did there) by taking home a piece of STL history with one of our river tables.
