Description
With each trunk we remove and mill we unlock a history we believe should be preserved. This particular table is a Slab Lab favorite. English walnut trees are rare in St. Louis, so this was an exciting find when we got the call a tree needed to come down off of Old Bonhomme Rd.
This slab has 2 rivers as well as some distinct borer excavation tunnels in the wood that we also filled in with black epoxy. The markings on this one really set this table apart from anything else we have made so far.
Here at Slab Lab we believe in tree-incarnation! So this Christmas shop local and take pride in our Midwest roots (wink, see what we did there) by taking home a piece of STL history with one of our river tables.
